About Us

We are Paul Ridley and Julie Wallace and we are passionate about all things period property and property renovation. We have both always had a keen interest in quality buildings (old and new) and the craftsmanship that goes into them.

Paul has over 25 years of roofing experience, having worked on traditional properties and listed buildings in the Durham Dales. Much of the work Paul has undertaken has been about conservation of a building, and he has seen first hand the damage that can be done to the fabric of a building by water when a roof and gutters do not work properly.  It occurred to us that traditional gutter brackets simply weren’t available to buy and that modern gutter brackets often are not up to the job. This is how Ridley Gutter Brackets came into being.

Our brackets are made in our own workshop using traditional techniques and are inspired by original architectural features. As we are such a small team, you can rest assured that you will speak to the same people each time you contact us, and any order you place will be handled efficiently. We are able to give advice on the application of each bracket, and can even advise on bespoke brackets if required – we really do care that you get the right gutter brackets for your property.
