Surface Finishes
There are several surface finishes that we can apply to our gutter brackets. Most brackets are supplied with a zinc plated finish ready for painting on site. For further information about any of the surface finishes listed please contact us.
Hot Dip Galvanising
Hot dip galvanising is a superior finish for the longevity of any steel product that is designed to spend time outdoors, although it is not always the most aesthetically pleasing. Sometimes there can be surface imperfections such as surplus zinc, or dark staining. The brackets are placed into a basket, dipped into a bath of molten zinc, removed and then spun to get any remnants of zinc off the bracket.
Bright Zinc Plating
A weather resistant plating which is produced by placing a bracket into a liquid passivate and passing a current through it to make the zinc stick to the component. Produces a consistent and shiny zinc finish.
Powder Coating
Powder coating is a process where a layer of powdered polyester paint is sprayed onto the surface of the bracket and then cured in an oven. This can be done instead of zinc plating, or as well as zinc plating. Brackets can be powder coated to any colour/RAL number.
